Great Co Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering for, using, participating in activities through, or otherwise engaging with Great Co (“Great Co”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, you must not use the platform or participate in any activities.

2. Nature of the Platform

Great Co is a community platform that connects individuals through social, recreational, educational, wellness, outdoor, and community activities and events.

Great Co may host, facilitate, promote, advertise, or provide access to activities organized by Great Co, third-party organizers, community members, volunteers, or other participants.

3. Assumption of Risk

Participation in activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, loss, disability, death, or other unforeseen circumstances.

By participating in any activity, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation and acknowledge that you are responsible for determining whether you are physically, mentally, and medically fit to participate.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Great Co, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, partners, hosts, organizers, and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, claim, expense, illness, accident, disability, death, or other liability arising out of or related to:

Participation in any activity or event.
Travel to or from an activity or event.
Actions or omissions of other participants, organizers, hosts, venues, or third parties.
Equipment failure, weather conditions, natural hazards, or unforeseen circumstances.

You participate in all activities entirely at your own risk.

5. Community-Hosted and Unpaid Events

Many activities listed on Great Co are organized, hosted, or led by community members, volunteers, or individuals who receive no payment or compensation from Great Co.

Participants acknowledge that such activities are often informal community gatherings and may not have professional supervision, dedicated safety personnel, medical support, risk management procedures, insurance coverage, or other resources that may be available at commercial or professionally organized events.

By participating in a community-hosted or unpaid event, participants understand and accept that the event host is acting solely in a voluntary capacity and may not possess professional qualifications, certifications, training, or resources to assess, manage, or eliminate all risks associated with participation.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither Great Co nor any volunteer host, organizer, co-host, community leader, participant, or other individual involved in organizing or facilitating a community-hosted or unpaid event shall be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, claim, or liability arising out of or related to participation in such events, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending and participating in community-hosted or unpaid events and acknowledge that they participate entirely at their own risk.

Great Co acts solely as a platform facilitating connections between participants and event hosts and does not supervise, manage, inspect, control, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the conduct, safety, suitability, legality, quality, or execution of any community-hosted or unpaid event.

6. Participant Responsibilities

Participants are solely responsible for:

Their own safety and well-being.
Following all applicable laws and regulations.
Exercising reasonable judgment during activities.
Obtaining any necessary insurance coverage.
Assessing risks associated with participation.
Following instructions provided by event organizers and venue operators.

7. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

Engage in unlawful, dangerous, abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior.
Harass, threaten, or endanger other participants.
Misrepresent their identity or qualifications.
Use Great Co for fraudulent or unauthorized purposes.

Great Co reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Data Collection and Marketing

By creating an account, registering for activities, participating in events, communicating through the platform, or otherwise using Great Co, you acknowledge and agree that Great Co may collect, store, process, and use information provided by you, including personal information, for purposes including:

Operating and improving the platform.
Managing accounts and event participation.
Customer support and communications.
Analytics and service improvement.
Marketing, advertising, promotions, and business development.
Sending newsletters, event recommendations, promotional offers, updates, and other communications related to Great Co.

You consent to receiving communications from Great Co relating to activities, events, services, promotions, partnerships, and community initiatives. You may opt out of marketing communications where such option is provided.

Great Co may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data for research, analytics, marketing, and business purposes.

9. No Warranty

Great Co provides its platform and services on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Great Co makes no warranties or representations regarding the availability, accuracy, reliability, suitability, safety, quality, or legality of any activity, organizer, participant, venue, or service offered through the platform.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Great Co, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, volunteers, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the platform or participation in activities.

11. Amendments

Great Co reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law & Local Compliance

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Users are responsible for complying with all applicable local laws and regulations in the jurisdiction where they participate in activities.

Where activities take place in Indonesia or another jurisdiction, participants acknowledge that local laws, regulations, permits, safety requirements, and venue rules may also apply to their participation.
